Elf on the shelf from 2013

When I decided to introduce Elf on the Shelf three years ago I just used one that I had picked up that was suppose to be a decoration for the tree but thought it was adorable and would work great. 2014 will be Elfie's third year coming to our house and I have realized that their is one issue with having a unique one. When you forget where you hid him. I was frantically looking while at the same time trying come up with an excuse why we had a different Elf. Luckily I found him (he was were I put him just got shoved back further.) Our elf is a lil different as he likes to be played with (no way I could do the no touching with a 2 year old the 4 year old would have been freaking out and I figured it would be a headache and lead to lost of fighting. So instead they play with him and do what he is doing!

Insanity!!!!

My jeans started getting to tight so I decided it was time to start the insanity 60 day challenge again. Its been about 15 months since I did it last. I went from a size 12 to a 6 and even some 4's. However the 4 are no longer fitting and the 6 are getting tight so I decided that it is time to get my but in gear. WOW is what I remember feeling after that first fit test and once again I feel WOW and dreading tomorrow when I do day 2 but I know that in the end it will all be worth it when I can wear the cute shorts and cute top this summer and look in the mirror and feel good.

On the insanity challenge every two weeks you do the fit test and keep track of your numbers so you can see your improvement.

Here are my numbers for week 1 fit test: Date 5/5/14
1. 43
2. 50
3. 69
4. 24
5. 7
6. 10
7. 16
8. 36

If you have never done the insanity fit test these numbers mean nothing especially since I could barley breathe to write down what the exercise was. Will try to next time. But the goal is that in two weeks when I do the test over again all my numbers will improve!

Here is to getting fit and healthy and teaching my boys all about living a healthy life.

WEEK 3

My children have been in football mania and this is the face Wyatt gives you when you tell him the football is not allowed at the dinner table.

This is the face you get when he was allowed to have the football at the table.

We had game night!!! Fibber!!!

Seahawks vs 49ers... The game we had been waiting for. The game to go to the super bowl!!!

12 layer 12th man bean dip!

The boys got beast mode drinks

And our beast mode shots!!!

The game got to intense for Wyatts ears and he had to to wear ear muffs from all the screaming and yelling. It was a super fun close game and we came out with the win. Can't Super Bowl!!!
